French Bliss

I simply could not part with the aroma that swirled around me in Sault, France when visiting the lavender farms and distilleries. I decided I to create a time capsule aroma in honor of the living changing experienced I had. That way I could always have this loveable aroma with me and be able to share it. Share it so that those who may not be able to travel to France and experience this aroma in the mountains can smell this synergy I have created and literally be teleported aromatically to this magnificent place. I have created a whole product line with French Bliss as the synergy. In this post you will learn a little bit about the three strains of lavender that grow on the mountains of France, the health benefits of the synergy, along with what products I have created and are ready for your enjoyment!

During the tour of Aroma Plantes Distillery the guide was talking about where lavender grows on the mountain and how each strain has a altitude that it optimally grows. Spike Lavender grows on the lower altitudes of the mountain, Lavandin grows mid mountain and Fine Lavender grows on the higher altitudes. Ranging from 600 to 2000 meters. A interesting fact is that Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia) and Fine Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) naturally hybridized and created Lavandin. A naturally occuring hybrid of lavender! When smelling all three variations together it literally hits all aromatic notes, low, mid and high, which in turn creates a perfectly balanced aroma that our nose can detect.

Helichrysum is seen throughout the lavender fields. Which was beautiful to see the bright yellow popping out through the rows of vibrant purple. I was quite excited to see this as well because I knew I was going to include this rich, buttery aroma to the three lavender strains to give that luxurious note as well as the benefits that helichrysum brings to the table.

The synergy of French Bliss are the only flowers that were blooming when I was there walking around in the beautiful lavender fields! I wanted this synergy to be homage to my experience and the inspiring aroma that this region produces every year.
