Dill Super Grain Blend

- 2 Qt saucepan
- Fine mesh strainer
- 10’ sauté pan
Reheating
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Sprinkle 1 tbsp water over mix.
- Sprinkle 1 tsp avocado oil over mix and stir.
- Place in the over for about 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Super Grain Blend
- 2 Cups chicken stock
- 1 ½ tsp dill, dried
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- ⅓ cup pine nuts, toasted
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 4 Thai Basil Leaves, chopped
Instructions
- Put Super Grain Blend in the fine mesh strainer and rinse, then place in a small saucepan. Add 2 cups of chicken stock/broth and 1/2 tsp salt. Place the lid on the pan and bring to boil then reduce heat to low.
- Toast the pine nuts in a small sauté pan until golden brown. No need to add any oil. Just continue to stir the pine nuts until they are a toasted brown color. Set aside.
- Once all water has been absorbed let the mix rest for approximately 5 minutes
- Fluff with a fork.
- Add Dill, coconut oil, toasted pine nuts, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp white pepper, Thai basil leaves. Mix well.
